Unfortunately, we had a bit of a quiet morning out with Capt Gavin, although somewhat my fault for fishing in the estuary during the winter. Otherwise, beautiful morning out in the estuary Captain Gavin is about as knowledgeable about his craft as one could get, and really worked towards getting a fish on the line. He’s definitely got a lot of passion for fishing, and shows it too Will definitely return to try out the reef fishing next time I’m in town with a bit more time... More

Captain Gav was great! Due to unpredictable tides etc we didn’t get much action but still had a really enjoyable afternoon. Gav took us to many spots and went over time in hopes the fish would be biting. Gav was so knowledgeable about all the fish and area, we would love to do it again!

Captain Gavin was amazing. Took time to explain all his tricks to catching target fish. I had the family onboard and Gavin was great with them explaining all the best fishing techniques. And best of all we caught all the target species. Thanks for a great day out, highly recommended. Cheers John

The captain was very nice and provided us with a lot of fishing knowledge. Even though we were three rookie fishermen, the captain was still very patient and helped us solve any difficulties. And they also gave us more fishing time free of charge. Overall, it was a very interesting trip.

Big thank you to Gavin from Cairns Port Douglas Sportfishing. A wealth of experience that clearly paid off. We booked a 4 hour estuary trip which put us into 7 species in total. Highlight was the Barramundi secrete spot. Hooked onto 6 Barra Landed 2 - 74cm & 75cm Released 1 Caught and lost a trophy Barra meter plus leaving out of the water. Great guide and highly recommend.
