it was a pleasure spending the morning with Gavin fishing on the estuary. It’s obvious how skiffle Gavin is in terms of fishing techniques catching live bait knowing the best spot we had three young boys on our boat. He was great with the younger kids as well and very patient couldn’t recommend for a day out with Gavin seeing an expert at work.

We had a tremendous and successful trip under Gavin’s tutelage today. He has a great understanding of the waters we fished and made us feel safe, and taught us the right technique to land the 30+ fish we did in 4.5 hrs. I would highly recommend him and we will certainly be giving him another call when we come back.

Right from the start Captain Galvin worked hard and it continued to the last minute. The quality and quantity of fish was excellent! We caught about 15 different beautiful species. Nannygai,gold band snapper and mother in law fish were huge and very hard fighting!! Stripeys, honeycomb cod, and tomato cod were some of my favorites and gougeous! It was the trip of a lifetime! We had an awesome fishing trip with Captain Gavin out at the inshore reef off Port Douglas. The conditions were perfect, and Gavin made the whole experience fun, easy, and productive. Conditions and fishing were not ideal. However Gavins vibe, personality, persistence to achieve the best experience for his client shined bright. I truly will remember this experience and hope to fish with Gavin again one day. He is a top notch guide. in the end we achieved the desired result wbd caught a few ifnout target species. i highly recommend him as your choice for a fishing guide
