  AWESOME DAY WITH CAPTAIN TIM!!

  Half Day Trip (AM) on June 16, 2026 • 4 adults

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible day on the water with Captain Tim! From the moment we stepped on the boat, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. His knowledge of the lake, fish behavior, and techniques made the trip both productive and educational. He was patient, easy to learn from, and always willing to explain what he was doing and why. Thanks to his guidance, we caught an amazing variety of fish, including striped bass, largemouth bass, catfish, and white bass. The highlight of the day was landing a monster largemouth bass weighing 6.56 pounds! Every time the bite slowed down, Captain Tim had a new spot or strategy ready, and it paid off. What really stood out was how relaxed and enjoyable he made the experience. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a complete beginner, Captain Tim makes you feel comfortable and confident. We learned a ton, caught some incredible fish, and made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable guide who works hard, teaches along the way, and puts you on fish, Captain Tim is the one to book. We can’t wait to fish with him again! 🎣🐟🏆

  My experience with Captain Tim was exceptional. He saw to our every need and best of all, we caught fish! Conditions were tough and based on the boats we could see around us we were by far catching more fish. Of which (despite the conditions) our group caught 5 massive striper (no other boat caught any at all) and a whole mess of sand bass. We also caught numerous smaller stripers which were thrown back and funnily enough quite a few drum whi h became something of a hilarious joke every time we pulled one in. I'd like to credit our catches and wonderful experience to Captain Tim's exceptional knowledge of the lake, his modern electronics well equipped boat/tackle and most of all the effort he took to procure bait before our trip even began. Please give Captain Tim a chance next time you want to fish lake Whitney. The effort he puts into his work will blow your mind. You can't go wrong. Many thanks to you Captain Tim!   We had an amazing experience with Gone Fishin’ Guide Service! Tim was incredibly knowledgeable about the lake and clearly has great connections, which made a big difference in our trip. You could tell he really knows his stuff and stays on top of where the fish are biting. When the stripers weren’t cooperating, he quickly adjusted the plan and took us over to target sand bass instead and that move paid off right away. We got into a ton of fish and had constant action. Overall, it was a fantastic day on the water with a captain who is professional, adaptable, and genuinely committed to making sure you have a great time. Highly recommend!

  Had a great time with Tim! He put us on some large Stripper in no time. Very knowledgeable of the lake (PK Lake). Great with the kids (3), 2 being first timers. Great job educating the kids on how to hold the fish and making them comfortable with doing so, which can be a struggle sometimes. Especially with fish that large and them being first timers. Equipment and boat were great. Never felt rushed at any point. I will definitely use Tim again for our next charter and look forward to catching up at that time! Thanks Tim!

  Tim and Magge is the Best

  If you’re looking for a guided trip with the best captain and have the most fun choose Tim and Maggie. Best husband and wife couple that will put you on the fish. They are very friendly and reapectful. Lake conditions were amazing and after a ride on Tim’s boat it will make you want one. Thank you guys. They are 10 stars in our book and make you feel like family.
