We had a great experience with Captain Jon at new Smyrna Beach. We asked for keeper fish and one or two big catches and Captain John did not disappoint. We hooked up with a bunch of nice sized whitting, targeted flounder and black drum, along with a variety of other species. I’d recommend him and will be booking another trip soon. John, our captain, was outstanding.  He immediately put us on snapper within a few casts.  After the bite diminished some; he moved us to a non-community hole where we slayed keeper Sheepshead, , Porgies, and Lane Snapper.  We lost a trophy Triggerfish there too.  John did an awesome job of carefully filleting our keeps and took time to remove the small bones as well.  After we ate the catches, there were zero bones.  Amazing.  Well worth every dollar spent.  He knows... John knew what he was doing, spending upwards of 10 to 15 minutes, placing us over spots. He was super meticulous and where the boat sat and the gear we used to target species or to even get us hooked up. I had brought my dad with me as a late birthday gift and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The boat size was perfect and John answered any questions we had.
