Captain Neil Douglass was born in Naples, Florida. He's spent his entire life fishing the gorgeous waters from Panama City to Key West, learning the tricks of the local fish as well as where the hottest spots are. He started his professional fishing career as a commercial fisherman, now he has over 28 years of experience. He loves seeing the reaction of his guests when they hook a fish for the first time in the Gulf – he says he's happy to see such a special moment.

5 Hour Inshore/Offshore Trip • 6 adults • 2 childrenI booked a 5 hour fishing trip with Always Fun Charters out of Ft Meyers Beach. I went with my two sons a daughter in law and two grand daughters. We liked the fact that captain Neil’s boat the Sea Hawk at 41 feet is much more substantial then most of the charters. There is an on board head (toilet) and plenty of room to get out of the sun. There is also plenty of room for 6 people to fish without getting lines tangled. It was fairly windy so we stayed near shore and did bottom fishing. We all caught some fish and had 7 keepers. The grand daughters and daughter in law who have hardly ever fished had quite the thrills reeling them in. Captain Neal did a great job at finding the fish and first mate Jenna kept up with removing fish and keeping the hooks baited. Jenna also cleaned all the fish at the end of the trip. We all had a great time and would book with them again.

Shark Fishing Trip Special • 4 adultsWe caught five bonnethead sharks, whiting and perch (and lots of catfish). Captain Neil was fun to go out with. Jenna was busy working hard and is a great first mate!

Inshore/Offshore Trip - 9:00 AM • 3 adultswe caught a bunch of bonnethead sharks, some catfish, small grouper and a few others. Mostly caught bonnethead sharks. We caught 1 keeper shark and had a few break the lines. Overall we had a great time. Will definately be going again when we visit next time.
