I grew up on the water. In my early teenage years I went offshore for the first time and was literally hooked. In 2008 I started charter fishing and fell in love with taking people out on the ocean to enjoy all there is to offer. Whether fishing inshore, nearshore or offshore chasing big game, every day is different and exciting. I captain our 36ft Revenge custom center console which is our primary charter boat in Southport and Bald Head Island

6 Hour Trip – Offshore • 4 adultsHad a bit of a rough week weather wise for fishing but Captain Steele was all over it. Called an audible on the fishing location the morning of our trip. After filling the bait wells with one throw of the cast net we headed to the fishing grounds. Within 20 minutes we had our limit of 30-40lb Amberjacks. We were worn out. We could have continued in that spot reeling in (and releasing) many times our limit but elected to go off in search of some other species. Within minutes of reaching the 2nd location we had a mahi on the boat. Great trip. Captain Steele is a hard working captain who knows his stuff and knows how to read the situation with wind and recent weather to put you on the fish. we had a great time. Thanks Captain Steele!

6 Hour Trip – Offshore • 4 adultsThe fish didn’t want to bite today. We had to work for the fish that we brought home, but that’s fishing. Captain Steele put us on-top of fish, but for whatever reason they weren’t interested. Caught fish today that I’ve never caught (False Albicore and Needle fish) before.. Also we caught Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Red Vermillion Snapper and shark.

Captain Steele made sure the kids caught something before introducing the opportinity to catch a shark (which we did!!) I couldnt recommend Captain Steele highly enough! A true professional.

Our 6hr, 10 hr, and Gulf Stream fishing is as good as it gets. King Mackerel fishing on the 6hr is nonstop action. King Mackerel, Jacks, snapper and sea bass of really good right now on our 10 hr. Wahoo, sailfish and blackfin tuna fishing is strong on our 12 hr Gulf Stream. Nearshore 2hr and 4hr has slowed down but the sea mullet are here and provide great eating and big fun for families looking for a fun morning or afternoon trip. Dont miss out on some epic fishing. Best its been in years!

Fall fishing is happening now!

The past few days have had awesome fishing from backwater out to the gulf stream. Steady catches of flounder, red drum and trout in the backwater with bait still being plentiful. On the beach and near shore, the big spanish are here, king mackerel are on the beach and thick out in 65ft. There are still some bull red drum in the bait balls along the beach. Offshore, the gulf stream is on fire with great catches of wahoo, blackfin tuna and sailfish. Now is the time to go!

Nearshore fishing heats up!

Fall is the absolute best time of the year to fish off our coast. Nearshore, the big spanish and king mackerel bite is great. Offahore, the wahoo and tuna fishing is as good as it gets! We would love to take you to experience our fall fishery. Cooler weather and calm water makes for an awesome day on the water!
