Growing up in Charleston, Captain Nicholas Winch was lucky enough to be able to fish these beautiful waters just about every day. Having fished since he could walk, there was never any doubt about the importance of fishing in his life. His favorite thing about fishing is the sheer excitement of reeling in the big fish that's almost palpable.

    Hard Fighthing Big Redfish

    4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM) • 4 adults

    We had an absolutely incredible time on the water with Captain Nicholas Winch! Fishing out of the Isle of Palms Marina, he expertly navigated the Charleston waters and got us on the fish right away. Everyone in our group managed to reel in some massive bull Redfish. What really stood out was how nice, patient, and hands-on the Captain was. He took the time to help everyone—from the experienced anglers to the beginners—and made sure everyone on the trip had a blast fighting these big fish.If you're looking for a top-notch, family-friendly charter that guarantees a great time and memorable catches, I highly recommend booking with Captain Nicholas!

    4 Hour Trip - Inshore (PM) • 2 adults

    Nick W. was very knowledgeable and put us on fish immediately. He worked with us in baiting hooks, casting, and even assisting in the initial catch process of fish. He was patient with our novice fishers as well as operated his boat with percission and safety! 5 Stars completely and would recommend over and over again.

    Great drum fishing!

    Captain Nick is an excellent guide and put us on some healthy and fun fighting drum. He knows where to find them and how to get you hooked up. He was well prepaired for us and would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to catch some fish!

Fall is the best time for sight fishing and fly fishing. The waters are clear and the Redfish are abundant. You might still hook into Tarpon, too. Offshore, the big game fish season rages on.

The bite has been getting much more consistent as the temps continue to rise. This is the perfect time of year to spend the day on the boat fishing. The redfish have been fired up and continue to prove why they are a fishermans favorite to catch. The trout and flounder are beginning to show up in better numbers as well.

May is almost over and the fishing has been solid. The redfish bite continues to stay steady with a lot of over slot fish. The flounder fishing gets better and better each day, and the trout bite has been steady.

The bull redfish have moved back inshore from the nearshore reefs. This class of fish range from 15 to 40+ pounds! If you want a hard fight then these are the fish for you.

The weather is warm and the fish and feeding hard. The inshore bite is still very good and the jetties bite is getting better and better each day. Menhaden are here which means the big bull reds are THICK in the harbor and at the jetties.
