I am a 4th generation Charter Captain. I have fished the waters from Georgetown to Myrtle Beach my whole life. I enjoy all sorts of fishing basically whatever is biting but I would say bottom fishing for grouper and snapper is my favorite.

    Absolutely amazing

    Offshore combo • 2 adults

    Had an absolute blast, was me and a friend of mine, both 18, and by the time we were done I don’t know if we physically could have reeled in another fish. Caught tons, lost a bunch too and have plenty to take home to eat. Both captain and crew mate were super nice and informative and definitely knew what they were doing!

    6 hour nearshore and reef • 3 adults

    Captain at first mate were awesome. very knowledgeable. very helpful. will definitely be booking with them again

    Caught the grouper

    Offshore combo

    Boat is slow and some of the equipment is average. This is what I expected as we opted for the less expensive boat. I caught a large grouper which was my goal. Recommend 9 hours for this.

    Capt Shane and Sidekick Charters were awesome!

    6 hour nearshore and reef • 5 adults

    Capt Shane put us on the fish! Brought a bunch home. Recommend this for any age group that wants to go. Sea got a little ruff on the way in but Capt Shane handled it like a pro! Will definitely go back with him again! Thanks for an amazing trip!

Tourists start to head home for the fall, so September is a great month for fishing. As your kids head back to school, a variety of inshore fish join schools of their own. Winyah Bay is teeming with Red and Black Drum, Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, and Sheepshead.
