I met up with Eli early on a friday morning, the target for the day was sharks. We went out onto the beach he gave me a run down of the best time the sharks should be coming by and we set up and waited. Almost immediately when the “window” opened up we landed a 9’ lemon shark. I was impressed with Eli’s knowledge of the local waters. I ended up booking a second day with him and chatching another big shark. Eli is super friendly, he even took my kids out on the kayak to drop the bait. 10/10 if your looking for a fishing guide who gives a shit and can get you put on some fish, then book with my new lowcountry friend Eli!

Unfortunately our trip to catch sharks did not yield any catches. That is not however a knock on Eli and Jerry. They are a great couple of guys who do this a lot, and they obviously said from the very beginning that there is no guarantee. That’s not for a lack of trying either. They pulled out all the stops and threw everything they could at the attempts to carch some fish…. to include the kitchen sink! We did fortunately have a lot of great conversation and a lot of laughs. While this trip didn’t go as originally intended it wasn’t a total bust, and again I can’t stress this enough…. It wasn’t due to any fault from the crew. Sometimes fhe fish just aren’t around or biting! I’m calling a mulligan on it though and we will be back to get a do over…. Next time with a lot of fish to show for it! Thabks for your efforts Eli and Jerry. You’re good guys, We’ll be back to get our redemption. The Salty Savage experience was a great Experience!!  Eli was very informative and we absolutely caught 2 Monster Sharks from the Beach.  Highly recommend for a guy’s night, family trip or with kids.

We had the best day with Eli, The Salty Savage Experience! We caught 3 monster sharks including a bull! My teenage son had a blast! The beach is beautiful and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Better experience than being stuck on a boat and better interactions with the sea life! Eli hustles and is an expert at reeling g in the big sharks!
