- I grew up near the water, and fishing was a big part of my family’s life. My dad taught me how to cast a line before I could ride a bike, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Over the years, I’ve fished everything from small freshwater creeks to deep-sea expeditions. It’s hard to pick just one, but if I had to choose, I’d say inshore saltwater fishing is my favorite. There’s something thrilling about chasing redfish, amberjack , mahi-mahi, or sailfish. That said, I also love offshore adventures for big game like tuna or marlin. My most memorable catch was a massive blue marlin off the coast. It took nearly two hours to reel in, and the fight was unreal! But honestly, some of my favorite moments are quieter—like catching a roosterfish watching a sunrise while casting. When I’m not fishing, I’m usually no writing about it, planning the next trip or tWe note the details of our customers' experiences and we give you a personalized nuance in the stories of our profiles. I’ve also worked as a fishing guide in the past, which was an incredible way to share the sport with others. What about you? Do you fish, or are you just getting started? I’d love to swap stories or tips! ?
