4 of us went walleye fishing with Captain Dick for 4 hours on Leech Lake at the end of July.  We had been warned that walleyes had been tough for the previous couple of weeks.  That proved to be true.  We had a few hits but only got one in the boat.  Captain Dick was great.  A couple of our group were pretty inexperienced and he worked hard to keep their lines baited and suggested tips as well.  He also pointed out about a half dozen spots on the lake we might like to try fishing for bass... Great captain, comfortable andbeautifully well-maintained alumacraft boat. Captain had all the necessary electronics for finding fish. Marked a lot of fish but they just would bite. Other boats were having the same problems.
