Great experience. You can’t fake what he has to offer, which is experience. Captain Leo knows the fish and knows the area. The 1st mate was very nice as well and we had a good time. The fish were not on fire this day, but we were still able to catch several species. Even after the trip was over it wasn’t over. He pointed out spots we could fish from shore and taught us how to rig poles to fish for saltwater species. Our trip in the boat may have been over around noon but the knowledge and experience he left us with allowed us to catch some flounder, a sheepshead, and a redfish by that afternoon. (I’m eating fish tonight). To me the knowledge of how-to fish in saltwater was big bonus for this freshwater guy. Like I said, Capt. Leo is my guy…I won’t book a fishing trip with anyone else when in Biloxi.

The highlight of our trip was our fishing charter with Captain Leo!! We didn’t want it to be over. We caught a LOT of fish, and many different kinds. He was very attentive, as he was constantly baiting hooks or taking fish off, paying attention so that everyone had a pole in the water as long as possible. We moved around to 3 different spots and each spot produced fish for us. There were multiple boats at the final spot we went to, but it seemed like of those boats we were hauling in the most fish.

We were hoping to take the fish home to Michigan, which meant they needed to be frozen. He went out of his way to help us make that a reality.

If we ever come back to Biloxi, we would for sure sign up for his charter again and possibly more than once!

Weather conditions were supposed to change the day of our charter. Capt Leo contacted us to leave an hour earlier from the marina. Although we only fished 1-1/2 to 2 hours due to inclement weather conditions, we had an incredible time and caught plenty of fish. Definitely going to book our next trip with Capt. Leo again.

Captain Leo was absolutely awesome! The day following a storm, we thought fishing probably wouldnt be great but he had went out for recon and let me tell you, Leo knew the spot! We got set up and within a minute or two of dropping our pole in the water, the fish were hitting. We caught so many we lost count. My arms got their workout in for sure. We caught drum, sheephead and redfish. We caught fish of all sizes from monsters to table ready size.  We are already planning our summer trip back down!

My son and I booked a charter with Leo and would recommend him to anyone. From the moment we started looking into booking a charter, Leo answered every question we had with a positive, honest, and quickly response. He stayed up. Touch with us and checked in a few times before our trip. He wanted to know what HE could do to help make our trip a successful one. While on the boat, we saw dolphins, sharks, and a variety of other fish. We caught fish and took some home. My son even caught a shark, but, we had to release him due to size. Leo was very down to earth and knowledgeable when presented with questions. He made our fishing excursion one that was fun, relaxing, and ready for another!! We will definitely use Leo and his fishing charters again.
