Captain Mike Carroll started commercial and charter fishing in 1988. He has been a licensed captain since 1994. Mr. Carroll paid his way through graduate school commercial fishing in the 90's and today works as a fishery economist as well as charter captain. Mr. Carroll is a member of the Scientific and Statistical Committee of the New England Fishery Management Council and is an active supporter of fisheries both recreational and commercial in the region.

6 Hour Trip – Striped Bass (AM) • 5 adultsIt was a great time out on the water… and amazing knowledge and service by Captain Mike and his son. Unfortunately we didn’t land any of the strippers this trip, It was a little early in the season, but it wasn’t due to lack of trying. Captain Mike tried multiple locations to try and get them going… but that’s why they call it fishing… and not catching!

6 Hour Trip – Striped Bass (AM) • 4 adultsI reserved this trip on a Saturday afternoon for Sunday morning and captain Mike was able to take us out with his son Flynn as his first mate! We weren’t able to catch anything big but it wasn’t from lack of trying. We will definitely be going out with captain Mike upon Fish Town again, just earlier in the season next time. Highly recommend this charter!

Pretty much every major species is still out and about in September. Sharks, Tuna, Stripers, Bluefish, Fluke, Tautog – the hardest part will be choosing what to target! And whatever you choose, chances are you won't be disappointed.
