  We caught our limit, and had a great time doing it! We caught eight massive Lake Trout, heard some great stories, and we learned quite a bit as well. The Mariah was well maintained and kept us all comfortable for the entire trip. They took us straight to Carlson's Fishery to clean & filet our catch & we must've brought home 100 Lbs of fish! We had to buy a second cooler! My sons and I will definitely be back again this year, and we would accept no substitute for the Mariah and her captain!

  Exceptional Day of Fishing

  3/4 trip! Great early bite! No rush on June 2, 2026 • 4 adults

  Captain Bob and his son, Wes, clearly know where the best spots are and how to fish because we were catching fish left and right as soon as our lines were in the water. We easily caught our limit. We were blessed with amazing weather, and we really enjoyed visiting with Bob and Wes. They’re a lot of fun. We were also excited that they let our 18-yr-old son and friend net the fish…..we’ve never had a charter let us do that before…..It added a lot to the total experience.

  From the moment we met up with Captain Bob to board the Mariah, our experience was top-notch…and to say it was amazing would be an understatement! We went about 7 miles out and the three of us caught 11 King salmon. Captain Bob was so helpful that we all basically became pros by the end of the morning. Would highly recommend to anybody as a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience something truly special in northern Michigan.

  Amazing first Lake Michigan salmon experience ! i cannot say enough about Captain Bob. He knows his stuff and if you want to listen the experience will be stellar. A fun guy. A top shelf fisherman / captain. And a great human being to boot. We will be back. And it will be with Captain Bob!

  This was my dad and my first time on a chartering trip and Captain Bob was super amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better captain than him! We absolutely love every moment of the fishing charter and we had great conversations and just an amazing time all around!!
