Having fished all his life, Captain Jim decided to make a profession out of his passion in 2008. He knew that he just loved being on the water and spending every day doing what he loves was never going to be an issue. In fact, it's even better to do it with customers, as he gets to share his enthusiasm and skills with others, and he gets to see the smiles on their faces.

    Captain Jim for the win!

    Afternoon • 3 adults

We brought our thirteen year old fisherman nephew to Wisconsin, and he couldn’t wait to get out on the lake! To quote him: “Captain Jim taught me a lot about identifying fish, and he really knew his stuff! I learned a lot! That’s the biggest fish I ever caught!” He also spent the rest of our time in WI trying to identify every fish we saw. We had a great time, and although my stomach didn’t love the waves, being out on the water was so peaceful, and Jim could not have been kinder. Jim told us about a place that would cook our catch for us and even cleaned and prepped the fillets so they would be ready. I highly recommend a trip with Jim!

    Reported catch:
    Coho Salmon
    Chinook Salmon
    Response from Captain

    Awesome Trip

    5 hr afternoons trip12noon • 6 adults

Captain Jim was fantastic! We had a great time out on the water and he made the entire fishing trip enjoyable from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, professional, patient, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a great experience. You can tell he really knows the area and how to put you on fish. The boat was clean and well-equipped, and Captain Jim made everything easy and stress-free. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing charter. We had an awesome time and will absolutely book with Captain Jim again.

    We Had a Great time.

    Afternoon • 6 adults

We had a great time fishing with Jim, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to put us on fish. The fishing was a little slow because they just wasn't biting but that's mother nature and no fault of the charter. We still managed to catch 10 fish and a great time. We will definitely book again.

    Response from Captain

Thank you Tara amazing how the day changed. But the fish gods let us get some good fish. How was dinner at the fish and ale restaurant?

We were only able to catch four fish on a 8 hour trip. It was mostly due to weather wich can't be controlled but there should have been better planning on this as most of us got sea sick due to the high waves.

What's biting with Fisherman Jim's Great Lakes Fishing Adventure in Kenosha

Kenosha is wrapping up its season, but you'll still be able to cast a line. Cohos, Lakers, and Brownies are available. King Salmon fishing is excellent on the lake this time of year, and Steelhead bite pretty steadily.
