We went out with capt. Ruben for a half-day of bay fishing during our yearly summer trip to SPI and the RGV. He was very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. He asked about our group and provided great suggestions to make sure our needs were met. I had my young sons with me for the trip, and Ruben was awesome with them. He was very patient and explained things to them very well. He had us on fish all morning! We limited out on speckled trout, and then moved on to red drum.... More

A storm had come through a couple of days earlier, so there was no live bait. But Captain Ruben worked hard at finding fish and we caught a lot.

fantastic experience. 5 hours on the water , fish cleaned and ready to go 15 minutes after landing. great experience.

Ruben was so great. He was patient with the inexperienced fisherman. He was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating. We had great weather and caught Speckled Trout and Red Drum. My wife was excited to see Dolphins. There was a kid at the dock who prepped our fish and Ruben recommended Vivas Restaurant to cook it to perfection. This was a highlight for our trip and definitely would recommend Rio Fishing Services!!!
