The mark of a great captain, making a trip fun even if the fishing is slow. We caught snook, redfish, jacks and snapper. So to me it was a very successful trip, but it seems like the whole fleet struggled. Fred worked his butt off to find the fish covering miles of water. He gave us great instruction, and helped whenever it was needed. Fred is definitely a pro at pulling lures out of the trees we casted into! Will definitely book again

We had a great time fishing with Fred today. We are from Illinois and had no idea what we were fishing for but Fred made it really easy and we had a great day.  Fred was great with my 12 year old son and he has been telling everyone about Fred and the fishing trip all day. On top of all of that we caught a lot of fish including a 28” snook and 10 lb drum ! We will be back for peacock bass!

Took my 2 teenagers for a backwater afternoon. Fred knew all the right places to catch fish. We caught about 50 fish and kept a few for dinner. Fred was patient with the boys and made sure we were safe the entire time. We all had fun and learned a bit. Good variety of fish caught as well.

We took shorter half day morning trip. We saw dolphin and birds and caught fish, including ladyfish, sheepshead,  snook, mangrove snapper, cervalle jack and a Goliath grouper.  Very nice day on the water thanks Captain Fred Gowdy!

We were a group of 3y We had a great time on the water. Fred is really experience and knows the good places to catch fish. Fred made sure that we had all the time bait on the hook which kept him busy 😅 The result: 4 hours on the water. Tons of information about local nature and community. And 6 ready to grill filets.
