    Tarpon and Triple Tail

    4 Hour Tarpon, Tripletail 2 anglers • 4 adults • 2 children

    We started the morning hunting tarpon and found them. Rolling all over the place and had one monster nearly jump in the boat. They were not hitting our bait though. Our son hooked into a monster black drum though. That was a fun catch. We then moved out for triple tail but only some juveniles were hanging out. This was 4th of July week and the fishing is crowded so others probably beat us to the triple tail spots. Overall, we had a great trip and an hour of good looks at tarpon. They are super picky, so it's pure luck getting one to bite. Our luck wasn't with us on this ride. Next time! Captain Mark will take care of you!

Had a shot at some full sized Tarpon early then tagged and released several short Tripletail. Then found a 25” Tripletail that went home for dinner!

Great morning, had 100+ pound Tarpon rollong all around the boat. Unfortunately as Tarpon do, they had lock jaw. We could not get one to eat… so we went out looking for Tripletail. Tagged and released 7 fish for the University of Southern Mississippi. Then had to run through a rain storm on the way in. Great anglers on the boat today!
