Wes took us on a near shore fishing adventures. He was great with our kids (10 and 13) and we caught tons of whiting, catfish, a black drum, a pigmouth, black sea bass, and a sting ray! We know catching fish is never a guarantee but when Wes realized we were not in a great spot, we moved to a new location quickly so we had the best chance to catch things we could keep! We highly recommend and hope to be back on the water with him in the future!

Wes was an excellent captain and very knowledgeable about the area and fishing possibilities. He made sure we would have enough fish “ in the box “ for our dinner. I would highly recommend Tall Tails!

Wes is easy going and helpful and made our trip/day great! We fished several areas and caught several species of fish!

Most days on the water are good but Wes made our trip even better!  He was great with our group that varied with experience, from beginners to experienced. You could tell he has been navigating the waters around Apalach for a long time. He took us to several great spots and we caught a bunch!  We highly recommend Wes and will be going out with him our next time down in Apalach!
