- My name is Captain Rick Roberts. I am the owner and operator of the best Myrtle Beach Inshore Fishing Charter. I grew up fishing the inland waters of Central Florida. I have always been intrigued by the vast amount of marine life, the influences of tidal flow and the diverse habitats that the rivers and creeks provide. The challenge of predicting the habits and eventually catching the elusive redfish, speckled trout, flounder and black drum soon became an obsession. Needless to say, early on in my life I knew that fishing was my calling. Now, with 40 years of inshore fishing experience, and the support of my family, my dream has finally come true. I look forward to helping you create memories for your family and friends. I want to share my dream with you by teaching you how to cast a line, bait your hook, and ultimately fall in love with inshore fishing the way that I have. All trips are important to me. They are tailored around your experience level and the species we are targeting. Each outing is planned around the best tidal phase to ensure a rewarding adventure that you will never forget. - My personal favorite style of fishing is artificial baits otherwise known as "fake bait". This style of fishing allows you to cover a much wider area more quickly than fishing live bait or bottom fishing.
