Half Day Trip • 2 adultsI have gone on a number of chartered fishing trips over the years, as well as my own trips in my boat and others boats. John could find fish in a desert. He worked extremely hard to get us into fish, and the work he put in paid off with a huge cache of springs and lings(and a couple of rockfish as incidental catch). It wasn’t the fact the 4 of us on the charter caught a lot of fish that impressed me most, it was how hard John worked to get us onto fish. In a 6 hour trip we dropped 170 pounds of fish off at the processor and in addition John filleted up a couple fish for dinner for our group of 13. If you are in Tofino and anxious to catch fish I don’t think you could do better than booking with John. (Selfishly, hoping this review doesn’t mean next time I come he is booked solid). Thanks John.

Half Day Trip • 5 adults • 3 childrenHad a wonderful experience on the waters of Tofino, BC! Pablo was a wonderful captain and guide - super friendly, insightful and wonderful with the kids! We had a 6 hour trip and caught 6 species - chinook, coho, halibut, ling cod, multiple rockfish, and even had a shark on the line at one point! Definitely recommend for an awesome adventure!

What's biting with Tonquin Fishing Charters in Tofino
By now, most of the Tyees have left, but you can still enjoy fishing for feeder Chinook, Coho, and other Salmon species. The seasons for Halibut and Lingcod are coming to a close soon.
