We arrived to the dock and the boat was in the water and live shrimp was being loaded in the bait well. We set out to the first drop and that set the day off. We fished for almost 6 and a half hours, because Shennen wanted to keep us on the fish. I was hoping for am inshore slam but I couldn’t buy a damn flounder. Slot reds, Black Drum, Trout and Flounder were eating strong. If you want a good Captain and a fun time give Shennen a call. I will most definitely be going again in the fall. He took the time to share his knowledge with them, teaching them how to bait their hooks, cast effectively, and understand the behavior of different types of fish. Of course, fishing is never a guarantee, but Captain Shennen’s deep understanding of the tides, wind conditions, and fish patterns meant we stayed flexible and moved locations as needed. Thanks to his expertise, we had a very productive day—landing around 20 fish! While we chose to release most, we kept a few, and upon our return, Captain Shennen expertly cleaned and filleted them for us to take home.

Most importantly, the kids had an absolute blast. The experience created lasting memories, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the day turned out.
