    Fishing with Chris

    6 Hour Trip – Offshore

    Can’t say enough great things about our trip with Good Company Sportfishing and Captain Chris Kern. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Captain Chris clearly knows his stuff. He put us right on the fish and worked tirelessly to make sure everyone on board had an amazing experience. His knowledge of the local waters, the fish, and the best techniques was truly impressive. The boat was comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a successful day on the water. You can tell Chris takes pride in what he does — his passion for fishing and for giving guests a great experience really shows. We caught plenty of fish, made great memories, and laughed the entire day. We’ll definitely be back

    Half day trip with Capt Chris

    4 Hour Trip – Offshore Fishing

    Half day Trip with Capt Chris was excellent. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Boat was nice and clean and tackle was great. Chris made sure the box was full of fish. 10/10 highly recommend.

    The trip was good not awesome the boat didn’t have seats and we have to seat on the deck of the boat We catch some fish but not enough for money

    Thanks so much for coming with us today! im sorry you felt like you where uncomfortable on the way home. This is a very expensive(far away)place to fish and you chose the closest and cheapest trip i offer as well! we caught different species of snappers and jacks and it seemed like you guys had some fish get eaten by sharks. would love to fish again with you some day yall where great! I dont think im gonna be offering any more 6 hour charters after this it seems like they are not enough time fishing for you guys! From now on I am only going to offer 8,10,&12 hour charters. Sorry you wherent happy with your trip it seems the rest of your crew had fun let me know if theres anything I can do to make it up to you

Got our limit of vermillions and a few almocos for dinner! Plus some short muttons and groupers that we released! The mahis should be around on the reef soon!

50 pound cobia

We started our day out deep in 180 foot near a wreck, where we cuaght our verms, a trigger, some jacks, and a scamp grouper! As we worked our way back inshore we where drifting a spot for snappers and a large shark with a huge cobia swam up to the back of the boat. Me and my mate where able to hook the fish and our client did a great job fighting the fish. We cuaght him in maybe ten minutes and the fish came in very alive on the gaff! We made a few more drifts and came back home with plenty of fish for everyone!

3 big mutton snappers

Jul 5, 2026 • New Smyrna Beach
We started our day about 30 minutes offshore catching some live baits like grunts, cigars, and spanish sardines. After that we had about a 40 mile ride out to the ledge. Our first few drifts where slow for the vermillions, We got this big amber jack and our first mutton. After a few spot more drifts we hooked another and had the sharks fired up so we moved spots. While we where drifting we hooked and caught 2 nice mahis and a bonita. we moved spots quite a bit but it was worth it becuase our last couple drift of the day we caught our last two muttons. Everybody had a great time and went home with big bags of fish!
