- Captain Adam Homan has grown up with a rod in his hand – he's been fishing his entire life. As a kid his brother and he were hunting and fishing in the rivers and lakes of Northern Indiana, not just for fun, but to provide food to their family too! In 1999 he moved to St. Petersburg and immediately bought a boat – before buying a house. 6 years ago he decided to pursue his dreams and became a United States Coast Guard licensed captain, having spent years learning the tricks and feeding habits of the fish in the Gulf of Mexico. He runs charters together with his wife, Captain Tara, and they hope that you'll join them for a fishing excursion.
- Techniques
- Majority of the fishing is bottom is fishing where ever person on the boat has their own fishing pole. On a good day it's catching for everyone. We also do a lot of flat line fishing for top water fish such as King Mackerel, Bonita/ Blackfin tuna and Barracuda. For the sport fishing such as Goliath Grouper and Sharks we use a Large pole with 200 pound test line. Sometimes we do trolling with live bait and drifting for small groups or more experienced anglers.
