We highly recommend Captain Dan for fishing trips in the Charleston area. Captain Dan was personable, knowledgeable and his center console sea fox boat is quite comfortable and perfect for fishing.  We went on a half-day excursion with Dan and we caught red drum, trout, sharks and a stingray. Our catch also included a 40lb red drum! Lastly, we also enjoyed watching dolphins, sea turtles and the beautiful low country scenery. Thanks for a great day on the water, Captain Dan!

We had a great time fishing with Dan, and look forward to our next trip with him. He had everything we needed and put us on some fish.  My son caught his largest fish ever, 31-inch red drum.  Sadly he beat me in most fish caught, first fish caught and largest fish.  I only managed to better him in most species(5).  Thanks Dan for allowing me to spend a great day on the water with my son.

Captain Daniel delivered an exciting day of fishing - Reds, Trout and Sheepshead - and plenty of them!  Action packed four hour trip on the Cooper River.

Our day started at 0700, Captain Dan took use out in the ocean to his spot. Once ther, I think it took about 10 minutes for him to finally determined this is the spot. He anchored and we started fishing . We were fishing the rest of the day. Captain Dan is very knowledgeable on fishing. I highly recommend him if you want a fish in the low country area. When we got back to the dock, I booked him for next month for a catfish run on the river.
