We had three generations of fishermen, Grandfather, Son and a 23 year grandson. We are knowledgeable fishermen. The best is the experience and shared time for us who live in varied locations in the south. I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to watch my son bring in a big redfish. A great outing and good memories.

Our day started at 0700, Captain Dan took use out in the ocean to his spot. Once ther, I think it took about 10 minutes for him to finally determined this is the spot. He anchored and we started fishing . We were fishing the rest of the day. Captain Dan is very knowledgeable on fishing. I highly recommend him if you want a fish in the low country area. When we got back to the dock, I booked him for next month for a catfish run on the river.

I’ve known and fished with Captain Ackerman for going on 20 years. I can tell you that there’s no one better in the business. He’s an extremely knowledgeable and more importantly, personable, captain.  I have fished for many years in this area, with a lot of different people, and no one has put me on fish like Captain Daniel.  December 8, 2024 was my best day on the water to date!  Must go guide!

Dan was awesome!  He put us on the fish.  Great day of fishing.  I was with a couple small children.  He helped them out when they needed it.  Very satisfying trip and will be booking again.
