We had an amazing experience with Reel Saltwater Adventures! I went out with my two young boys, and Captain Michael was incredibly attentive and kind. He patiently changed the kids’ bait, untangled lines with a smile, and made sure everyone was having a great time. While he doesn’t guarantee catches, we were thrilled—within just three hours, my boys reeled in 6 stingrays, 2 flounders, and even a trout! The boat was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. Captain Michael’s passion and professionalism really stood out. It was a perfect family outing on the water, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and safe fishing adventure!

We left Murrells Inlet early, and from the start, it was clear we were in for something special. Mike, who owns Reel Saltwater Adventures and is also a good friend of ours, made the whole day run smoothly. His deep knowledge of the waters put us right on the fish, and the action didn’t let up.

The boat was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable, with safety always a priority. What really stood out, though, was how Mike went above and beyond to make it a great experience for our 14-year-old grandson. It was his first time fishing in the ocean, and Mike made sure it was a day he’ll never forget—patiently teaching him, cheering him on, and celebrating every catch like it was the biggest of the day.

By the time we headed back to the inlet, we had full coolers and even fuller hearts. If you want a trip that’s both expertly run and personally memorable, Reel Saltwater Adventures is the way to go. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

We arrived at 7am and the captain was already at the doc waiting on us which was great. The boat was beautiful and clean. I had requested to go in the marsh to fish and we started the morning doing just that. Once the late morning came around we moved out to reef. Over all we had a great time and plan on taking this same trip again. Minimum 30 fish caught.

Capt Mike, with Reel Saltwater Adventures, was our guide today for our family of 4. He communicated prior to our trip, and was knowledgeable and enjoyed answering any questions we had throughout the day. He has a very easy going personality that we enjoyed, which makes it even better when on a boat for hours with someone new! Went out strangers came back friends. We were able to catch a few different types of fish, it was a very fun day for us all. Can’t wait to come back in the fall for our next fishing adventure.
