Background
Being a native to the gulf coast its no surprise that Im a 3rd generation captain. My family has made a living on the waters for close to 100 yrs. Commercial fishing first then the charter fishing industry. I started off as a youngster on the back of various commercial fishing boats . Shrimp boats were my favorite plus the most difficult. Since shrimping only took place at night. We slept during the day. When everyone else was asleep . Id sneak out back and catch fish using handlines and bent nails made into hooks. Play fishing was kinda frowned upon but I could not resist. I could not get enough. As a kid I was left at the waters edge many times . Our parents would go offshore or to other jobs leaving us to tend to ourselves. The water was pretty much our babysitter. My uncles made casting nets so naturally, thats what we got for christmas or birthdays. We spent hrs wading through the water catching all sorts of fish . Sometimes we would be picked up with dinner and sometimes we would trade n barter our catches. Did this all summer and after school . sometimes even playing hooky. riding our bikes to the water once our parents left for work. This only happened a few times before our parents caught wind of our fishy clothes lol. It wasnt until after High school that I found myself fully committed to the fishing industry. Acquiring my license at 19. Its been a full on adventure ever since. Sharing my passion with thousands of ppl from all over the world. Thank you all

Quality over quanity is my new motto . Take a chance with me to catch a fish of a lifetime. With my help and a lil motivation . We will get our opportunity to be locked in battle. Hopefully with a catch you can tell stories about for the rest of your life.

A.m. fishing trip with 6 newbies to saltwater fishing. Marty was professional, easy to get along with and fun to be instructed...

We werenโ€™t expecting to feed a dolphin or see the Blue Angels practice, but we got these two amazing experiences as well...
