- Background
- With over 10+ years of hands-on experience, I’ve spent thousands of hours perfecting my techniques, studying local waters, and learning how to create memorable fishing experiences for anglers of all skill levels. Whether you're casting for your first catch or chasing a personal best, I take pride in guiding every guest with patience, professionalism, and a genuine love for the sport. What drives me in this business is more than just the fishing – it's the people I meet, the stories shared on deck, and the chance to turn a great day on the water into a lifelong memory. I started this charter to share that experience with others and to pass on the knowledge and excitement that made me fall in love with fishing in the first place. Come aboard – let’s fish, learn, and make some stories worth telling.
- Techniques
- Fishing the Gulf waters offers an incredible variety of opportunities, and I tailor each trip to match the season, conditions, and target species. Inshore: For inshore adventures, I specialize in light tackle spinning and live bait techniques to target species like Redfish, Snook, Trout, and Tarpon. Depending on the time of year, we’ll fish grass flats, mangrove lines, or backwater channels using a mix of live bait (like whitebait or shrimp), artificial lures, and topwater plugs. I enjoy teaching clients how to read the tides, present a bait naturally, and feel the subtle bite of a cruising inshore predator. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a first-timer, inshore fishing offers action-packed fun and a great learning experience. Offshore: Offshore, we head out into the Gulf targeting Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Amberjack, and more. I use a mix of trolling, bottom fishing, and vertical jigging depending on the depth and target species. Live bait and cut bait are often the go-to for bottom dwellers, while high-speed trolling brings the thrill when pelagic species are running. I also offer deep drop fishing for those looking to hook into something truly impressive in the deeper waters. No matter the technique, my goal is to keep you on the fish, keep things fun, and share a few tricks of the trade along the way. Whether you prefer to cast, jig, troll, or just feel that rod bend – there’s a Clearwater trip waiting with your name on it.
