My son and I were in town for a football camp and decided to book a last minute trip

We couldn’t have picked a better captain.  TXstrigers is knowledgeable, fun with the best equipment.

Early in the morning we headed out to Drum Wars… an area where all the boats head to in search of Black Drum.  The boats were anchored up around the shelf in the shallow water and we cruised right in the middle in the deeper water and the captain set the trolling motor/anchor and we were able to sit where none of the other boats could because we had equipment they did not.

We landed on top of a school of black drum and caught our limit in 10 minutes!!!  One cast after another.  We looked at the other 20 boats with 6 anglers each getting maybe one drum per boat as every cast we made got hit instantly.  We had a blast and it was almost embarrassing watching the other boats struggle to get one.

We then headed out to get some speckled trout and other fish. 

Txstringers has been fishing these waters for nearly 20 years, are great to fish with and have the best equipment. 

We will definitely be coming back.
