    First Trip with my Husband

    Full Day Ocean2 adults

This was my first time ever going on any vessel in the ocean. It was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my Husband. Between the 2 of us, we caught 8 fish. Only one was a keeper and my husband gave it to some other people that were on the fishing trip with us. I caught a Grouper, too small to keep. It's a beautiful fish. I'll definitely be booking more trips. Captain Brad and the 2 deck hands Darrell and Chelsea on the Miss Oregon Inlet II were Great! I hope everyone who goes on a fishing trip for the first time has an experience as good as mine. Thanks for the memories!

    Small but mighty!

    5 Hour Trip – Nearshore Ocean2 adults1 child

Capt went out of his way to insure fish were caught and although there weren’t many keepers there were may caught and released! Also see a large beautiful pod of dolphins was icing on the cake. The crew were as involved as much as required so if we preferred to be left to our own devices we could. All in all a great day on the water and highly recommend!

Great crew!!! No fish- not quite what i expected

    4 Hour Trip – Inshore (AM)7 adults

The crew was absolutely great and worked hard the entire trip, so no complaints there at all. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made the experience enjoyable. That being said, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed. We were really hoping for more action and a better fishing experience than what we ended up with. 🎣 I know fishing can be unpredictable and some days the fish just don’t cooperate, but it still wasn’t quite what we expected going into the trip. Even so, we appreciated the effort from the crew and still enjoyed the time out on the water making memories with family and friends.

    Response from Charter operator

Thank you for the kind words. We do try our best but sometimes the fish dont cooperate. We would love to have you back anytime!

    Great Family Excursion!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore (Mid Day)9 adults

My boyfriend and I are experienced anglers and wanted to involve our family in the hobbie. It was a super great beginner and family friendly experience! We were a group of 9 and everyone caught multiple fish and was well taken care of by a very friendly and helpful crew.

    Response from Charter operator

We were so happy to have you and your famiky with us this morning. Hope to see you all again soon!

    Great first ocean trip

    4 Hour Trip – Inshore (Mid Day)2 adults1 child

Not only did we catch plenty of fish, there was lots of wildlife with egrets and an entire island of pelicans, plus we even saw dolphins. It was fun teaching my 11 year old how to understand the navigational buoys as well. Great trip!

What's biting with Miss Oregon Inlet II Headboat in Nags Head

The weather's cooling, but inshore fishing is rock solid. Red and Black Drum, Trout, and Spanish Mackerel can all be caught on a half day trip. Otherwise, stay out all day to battle Billfish offshore.
