My girlfriend and I booked with Jesse, she had never fished and I have only flyfished, Jesse was patient and showed us how to fish with this equipment. It was like fishing with a friend in a few short minutes! Patient and fun and we caught plenty of fish!!!

My fiancé and I booked a trip with Gulf Coast King. Captain Jesse made us feel very welcome. He is very knowledgeable about where the fish are. Great Experience, with inclement weather all around us I thought for sure the trip was going to be a flop. However Capt Jesse’s knowledge and persistence saved the day. As we began the day the weather forced us to seek shelter which I appreciated our Captains concern for our safety. What was unexpected was the fact that he gave us extra time later in the day and bought us each a snack while we waited out the storm. As it turned out that extra time netted us 5 nice trout and a huge Red fish which ended up making the trip for my son. I cannot tell you how much Jesse’s customer service and commitment to put fish on the boat meant. It was my last fishing trip with my son before he leaves for college. He went the extra mile and made our day fantastic. The boat was smooth, the equipment was excellent and his knowledge of the area was huge. I look forward to a future trip with Capt Jesse but I look even more forward to the going away to college fish fry.

Great day of fishing last weekend with Cpt Jesse and my family. Hit multiple reefs where we pulled in fish after fish on plastics while the croaker soakers looked on in envy, before we headed to back in the marsh to hunt reds! Every time I go I learn something new about reading the water and the fish. Jesse is great with everyone from novices (like my wife) to self-proclaimed pro’s (like my uncle) and I am glad to be a repeat customer.

I’ve been out with Captain Francisco a few times and he always has put me on fish. This past Saturday he introduced me to dredging croakers across shell bottom. It proved to be an effective technique because the trout were holding close to the bottom. We ended up with 16 trout the largest going 24” and the smallest about 18”. It was a great trip and I would recommend Jesse to anyone, from beginners to old salts, who wanted to learn more about fishing.
