We left port at 6am at the lake by 6:15am, rods set by 6:30am and reeling our first fish by 6:50am. Captain Bryce took care of everything from driving the boat and tending the rods. He is very knowledgeable about the area and technics needed to catch the salmon. His boat was well maintained and comfortable ride the whole trip. Bryce is knowledgeable, friendly, and worked hard to ensure everyone had an awesome time. He was very patient with all of the young fishermen we brought along. Everyone had a turn in the steady and sometimes rapid action. We ended up with a cooler and filets and lots of stories, and can’t wait to do it again next year!

We had a great trip on Lake Michigan with Bryce Watson on Fishful Thinking Charters. We ended the day with 14 cohos and one really large king salmon, which made for an unforgettable experience. Our captain knew right where to go, which takle to use and we found fish right away. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Great trip. My son caught a 14 and 20 pound salmon. We both limited. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
