Thank you to John, Julia, and Giana for coming out and making memories during their fishing charter, while on their summer vacation while visiting LBI. They ended up between the 3 of them catching over 50 Summer Flounder. Giana end being the Queen of the boat beating out dad and her sister, catching over 25. The best setup for the day was a bucktail skirt with beads and a spinner, top with squid and spearing. We also caught some croakers, Sea Robins, and a couple Mackerel made an appearance during the charter. During our journey out to the fishing grounds, we stopped and got some pictures of the dolphins' pods chasing the bunker and sand eels along the beach. Come join us on your next family fishing adventure, regardless of if you are a beginner and never have been fishing. Our experienced crew are patient and will teach you how to catch Fluke, and provide you with fishing rods, bait and tackle to use during the fishing charter. It is the perfect way for your family to bond and create a memorable moment that the kids will never forget. At the moment, we have 2 spots available for our Shared Open AM Trip departing at 7:30 am on Saturday 08/01/2026. Summer Flounder continues to be hot fishing with very consistent catches on every drift. Sunday's trip yielded 35 flukes in 4 hours, and on Monday's trip, before the storms had 42 in 4 hours, with 3 generations of anglers from 98-year-old grandpop, father and son. High hook was our oldest angler on the boat showing up his son and grandson. Secure your open spots now, before it is too late.

31 fish were caught during their 4-hour PM Private Charter. Both Hi Low Bucktail rigs and Floating Squid skirts produced equally well today, with cut squid and Atlantic Spearing. The smaller Summer Flounders were way more aggressive, since the water temperature dropped from Tuesday thunderstorms. Average bay and inlet temperatures were down to the mid 60s, dropping almost 10 degrees, with the incoming tides. Weather is looking great for this weekend and hopefully the bay, inlet and ocean will warm back up the lower 70s

Father and Son dual had a good fishing trip; they had consistent action during their 4-hour PM Trip. They ended up catching 24 fish and dinner to take home with them. Floating rig with bucktail teasers with squid strips and spearing was working best for the Summer Flounders today. We are looking forward to having them back out again, to see who will come out on top on the next Fishing Charter.

Congrats to 12-year-old Jack, he ended up bragging rights with his brother Mike and Grandpa John, with 8 fish caught including Summer Flounder, Snapper Bluefish, and even an Ocean Crab on the bottom hook was caught while a summer flounder was on the top hook of his High Low Rig. It was a great day on the water with 24 fish being caught during their Private Charter. By the end of the day everyone was pro at catching Summer Flounder, jamming to good music, and creating memories that with last a lifetime. We look forward to having them back out again when they are in the LBI Area.

Special Request 5-hour Private Flounder

Our client made a special request and wanted to try for Stripers in the morning before finishing up with Flounder. We marked a lot of Striped Bass for the entire time during the morning. Unfortunately, even though we were marking them consistently on the screen and the birds were picking at sand eels on top of the water, the striped bass were not into biting anything, while we were trolling umbrella rigs with eels and shads or jigging for them with Flutter Spoons or Tsunami Shads. After trying for Stripers, and we did get into some Summer Flounders along the beach, to finish the private charter. During this Private Charter water temps were still around 60 degrees. As the water temps keep warming up, so will the fishing. If you would like to target Striped Bass during your private Summer Flounder, please reach out to us prior to the trip, so that we may bring the appropriate additional fishing gear to attempt to target them. There is still a small window during this spring be the continue up with their migration up north for the summer.
