Kids had their heart set on a catch and cook this week and after only catching small fish off the bridges, we decided to do a charter with captain Jeff.  The water was so calm you couldn’t tell where the ocean and sky met.  Captain Jeff taught the kids a perfect technique and they were able to pull fish in almost constantly the entire trip.  Kids caught well over 100 fish from lane snapper, red grouper, jack crevalle, and a trigger fish.  We also caught an 8 ft nurse shark.  This experience... It’s called Fishing not Catching. At the beginning of the trip the winds were blowing pretty good from the North and continued most of the morning. Capt. Jeff did his best to get us on the fish even moving multiple times but the fish just weren’t much interested. Jeff worked diligently the whole time to make something happen. I will say my fishing buddy and I were not much help either. All in all an enjoyable trip with a nice guy and a well versed Captain.

Went out on a day where many other charters cancelled. Our second time with Jeff, and we will come back for a third. Went out deep targeting Cobia and whatever else would bite. Pulled up tons of snappers and many other similar fish. Had a few grouper, numerous cobias, and ended the day off with a nurse shark. Another great day on the water in Key West!

Jeff was awesome. He took my wife and teenaged son out to the reef. It was a rough and windy day but we still caught several including a big yellow jack and several snappers.  Then he took us to several shallower spots to catch a ton of grunts to use as bait for bigger fish. Our son caught two nice sized lemon sharks. Jeff stayed out longer than our 5 hour tour to make sure we had a memorable experience. My husband and I booked a trip with Captain Jeff to go lobster diving and fishing. He was super knowledgeable and very accommodating. “Nice guy” charters is an appropriate name lol. We didn’t get any lobsters but we went home with some fish and great memories! When we visit The Keys again, we’ll definitely be reaching out.
