- I grew up on the water. My dad was a avid duck hunter and fisherman. So naturally I followed in his footsteps. I want to share the lessons learned from fishing with friends and family. Lake Erie has a lot to offer and would like others enjoy it as I have for many years. The name Mapalad is Filipino and means blessed or fortunate which I have been in life.

- We troll for walleye and steelhead. Our spread consists of planer boards, downriggers and dipsy divers.
