I've been fishing my whole life, but been doing trips with family and friends for 15 plus years. In ways, was like a guide all those years early on, but didn't call myself one. I truly enjoy putting others on fish and seeing the excitement it brings them setting the hook. It's a passion that I truly love!

    Catching fish

    6 Hour Trip • 2 adults

    Captain Zeb was great! Not only as our fishing 🎣 guide to help find fish but also was a great teacher about the nuances of fishing, the poles, hooks and baiting and also the behavior patterns of the different kinds of fish. Even showed us how to clean/fillet the fish. Highly recommend Captain Zeb!!!

    4 hour evening • 2 adults

    My son and I are novice anglers and Captain Zeb met us right where we were at and provided an outstanding experience. He was great with communication before, during, and after our trip. We caught a ton of fish and had a great time. I would highly recommend him.

    Awesome Trip with On The Hunt @ Harlan

    4 Hour Trip (AM) • 4 adults

    We spent Saturday with Capt. Zeb of On The Hunt at Harlan County reservoir. We caught walleye, a wiper, a flathead, and white bass. It was a great time and Zeb worked hard to get a fish for everyone in the boat

    Amazing fishing trip

    6 Hour Trip • 3 adults

    Zeb was amazing. He communicated the whole time. It was bad weather, but I had people from out of town and he accomodated. He made sure that we knew where to go and when to meet up. I highly recommend this fishing trip.

    Excellent trip with an excellent captain! Zeb put us on fish the first 5 minutes of the trip. Then a quick storm came through and the bite became very difficult and finicky. We toughed it out and the last 2 hours was non stop action for the livewell!

    Walleye and Wipers were the target. Zeb was professional with his scope and electronics and really knows the structure of the lake. Fun guy. Great personality! Highly recommend!

White bass/Wiper action at Harlan County

The white bass and wipers have been schooling on top catching them with top water lures. We have also been spot locked on top ans vertical jigging them as well blade baits. The fishing has been really good the last week and only going to get better as the shad keep growing. Trust me, don’t hesitate or sleep on the morning or especially the evening trips. So far ive had better top water action for my evening trips.

Harlan County lake evening fishing 7/7/2

I got out for a wonderful evening of fishing hitting various locations and trying different techniques. In an hour and a half I landed lots of white bass and wipers. Easily tossed back 15 wipers that were over 18 inches and a bunch of smaller whites. We saw some gulls flying amd caught some fish with top water lures, but cauggt a lot of them casting and vertical jigging baits. Get your trip booked and have some fun with family and friends.

Drags are screaming‼️??

White bass and wiper fishing is heating up just like the summer heat. That means it’s some of my favorite ways to catch them using blade baits and top water action‼️Casting and jigging is a ton of fun and the fight these fish have is crazy. So be sure to get in on the action before the kids head back to school. It’s a great way to get someone hooked on fishing with some whites and wipers. The bonus is you can take aome nice fillets home to enjoy. During the week I’m going to run 4 hour evening trips to beat the heat, catch fish, and check out the amazing Harlan County Lake sunsets. I have limited weekend dates available, get booked now to get in on the fun. Pictures are just a few of the trips from the last few weeks.
