This was a great experience for us provided by Reel Men Fishing Charters.  First note - do the 6 hour trip instead of the 4.  The time flies on the water and you’ll be left wanting more.  The morning was really windy so we started in a calm area, which was the best spot of the day.  Captain Derek put us on the fish here both times we visited while others around us weren’t catching anything.  We did venture out for bigger fish, but the bite was dead and the wind didn’t help.  It was worth the shot.  Overall, we caught 50 plus fish and put 34 in the boat, which ended up being over 5 pounds to take home.  Also, the Captain can tell you the restaurant to go to that will cook your catch for you.  Trust me and go to that restaurant!  They cook it to perfection, you get a bunch of sides, the staff hustles, the atmosphere is great, and everyone will have an awesome time.  Do yourself a favorite and schedule your charter with Reel Men Fishing Charters.

Capt. Johnathan and deckhand Cody made this trip one we won’t soon forget. Very professional crew and had no hesitation in rebating the hooks and taking off fish so we could get our lines right back out there. Great laughs on the boat and very knowledgeable for any questions we could come up with. I was even able to cross a bucket list item off with a shovel head.

Super relax, super informative, kind…caught 4 or 5 30 lb+ fish and like 4 saltwater catfish. Great time highly recommend. Highlight of our vacation

Took us to great fishing spots. Was helpful, encouraging, and knew where to find fish! We caught several we threw back including a shark that was about 30”, but the big prize was bringing home a 37” Red Drum. Yes, we are going again. Yes, we will absolutely ask for Captain Bryan!
