Capt. Matt runs trips out of Central Florida aboard his fully rigged Blazer 625 bass boat. Join him on an educational and fun fishing trip where he specializes in artificial trophy fishing. The only way to learn is to join him on the water. PLEASE make sure you purchase an out of state license from bass pro shops or fwc website if coming from out of state or do not have a current fishing license!!! EVERYBODY FISHING MUST HAVE A VALID LICENSE!

His communication was excellent, and he was super knowledgeable about all the fish, knowing exactly where and what to throw. I really appreciated his patience, especially since I'm still learning a bit. He has tons of very good gear for any situation, which made a big difference. We went to a very nice and beautiful lake, and I had an amazing time from beginning to end. Highly recommend Matt for a great fishing experience!

We just had a major cold front here in Florida, but now with rising temperatures every day, we will start to see waves of spawning fish pulling up to the bank to lay their eggs, which can be a great time to target some extra large fish either protecting their beds or first, coming up to drop some eggs. We also have a lot of fish still offshore and in some of the heavy grass mats. There are a variety of ways to catch them. This time of the year from worms to crank beats to swim beats, and even on some of the warmer days, a top water. We will slowly see an increase in spawning fish as the temperatures rise every day so now is a great time to get out on the water and experience what Florida bass fishing has to offer.

The bass fishing has completely changed over the past two weeks to outstanding conditions better water temperatures, and a lot of fish willing to eat. This weekend we had some fish in the 3-7lb class with probably around 50-100 fish days!

Fall Fishing

Fishing has been improving day today. They are starting to transition out of their summertime patterns. We are catching them on a variety of bats from top water to worms to moving baits and everything in between. Water temperatures are slowly coming down, which will make the fish more active as we get closer and closer towards the holiday season. we are starting to see some bigger female fish move a little bit shallower which means the pre-spawn should start to really happen in the next month

Big bass becoming more active!

The bass are starting to transition out of their summertime haunts up into some grass beds up early in the morning, which makes top water a very good in the morning as the heat kicks in in the afternoon we have to tend to slow down and either pick apart some heavier cover or look for some steeper drop offs. We are catching a decent amount of fish throughout the day on various baits!
