Background: I began my fishing journey after moving to Puchong during the COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO). With several lakes nearby, I quickly developed a passion for the sport, spending much of my free time fishing and exploring new waters. What started as a hobby soon grew into a pursuit of new species and different fishing techniques, driving my dedication to the craft. Through this journey, I built strong connections with experienced local boat skippers, including Mr. Azam, who has been operating boat charters since 2010. These collaborations have allowed me to gain valuable experience and also contribute toward supporting and growing the fishing industry in Selangor.
Techniques: Casting is the main priority, while bottom fishing is used depending on the situation. The Carolina and Dropshot Rig are our preferred techniques for the best results.
