    Great Outing

    3/4 Day Trip (Shared) - 6:30 AM1 adult

Got to the Yellowtail grounds early and we were non stop reeling them in. Even pulled in some huge ones which I learned are called flags. we also tried to hook a Goliath Grouper for the experience but wound up hooking a 30lb Black Grouper. It was an awesome catch and we let him since the season doesn't open till May 1st. We rounded out the day with a few Black Fin Tuna and one Yellow Fin tuna. Captain and Mate were first rate and would gladly go out with them again.

Cannot recommend Blue Heaven enough. My son did a shared charter and loved it! He would highly recommend booking with them and would book again! The captain and crew were great - very knowledgeable and answered questions right away!

    dream day

    Full Day Trip (Shared)2 adults

limited mahi, then deep dropped to pick up a couple tile fish but the crown jewel was the half dozen boats watching us pull tuna from between them. cptn Doc knows his craft. he and Mark were excellent.

What's biting with Blue Heaven Charter in Islamorada

The fall is the best time of year to fish the flats in Islamorada, and you'll see this in September. With fewer crowds, lots of Bonefish and Permit on the flats, and Snook in the mangroves, you're in for a treat.

Dinner and a show!!!

Nov 9, 2025 • Islamorada
Team Blue Heaven, headed out to the hump first thing in the morning on their three-quarter day trip, they caught their limit of Tuna and then looked for mahi-mahi… And definitely found them under some frigatebirds and pieces of debris… The action dried up for a little bit, so they headed into the reef where they saw sailfish showering ballyhoo in 40 foot of water crystal clear! First Mate Jesse pitched a live bait and it was down the hatch after they caught the first one. They turned around and waited a second and caught him as well. Nonstop, action, smiling faces all day long! This was a Split charter and there is plenty of action to go around so jump onto a Split charter or book the boat yourself today… Although they didn’t get a chance to do it, the wreck Fishing and Reef fishing is really kicking off as well. There were big mutton snapper caught on a few trips last week aboard the Blue Heaven,.

Fall fishing in the Florida Keys!

Nov 1, 2025 • Islamorada
October and November are great months for Fishing in the Key. most days we are heading out and catching live bait in the morning on the way to the first spot which is called the 409 hump… This place is 700 foot deep but it’s a hill that comes up to 400 feet below the surface. This is great for Tuna amberjack Vermillion, snapper and yellow eye Snapper, as well as a variety of other things that may be there… We typically are aiming for the blackfin Tuna early in the morning and we are looking for mahi- on the way back then we will make our way back to the Reef wrecks . Things that you might find on the Reef and Rex this time of the year are mutton snapper which are the pink ones in the picture as well as king, mackerel, sailfish, yellowtail, snapper, Vermillion, snapper, sharks, and a large variety of other things that you might run into in the shallow or water… It is a transitional time of year, so we are still doing further offshore stuff as well as mixing in the nearshore stuff… Winter time is mostly reef and wreck fishing most of this fishing is done within 8 miles from shore so that means lots of fishing time and less ride time! Book a trip today and get out there and build the experience of a lifetime!
