Capt. David has been a licensed captain for a year, but he's been in this industry for an impressive 30 years. Fishing really is his life - his day job involves working for a fishing magazine!     Great Day On The Water

    Full Day Trip - Chinook • 4 adults • 2 children

    We had a wonderful time chasing salmon with Captain Dave. Hooked 9 and landed 6 Chinook. He was great with our young kids and they learned a lot. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking to get out and catch some fish. We hope to be back and fish with him again.

    We booked the half day sturgeon fishing with Dave and it was incredible. He’s great company and was awesome with our two kids. If we ever make it back out here for another vacation, we would be booking with Dave again.

    I had an exchange student from Germany with me who had never gone fishing before. Dave made sure that he had the best experience possible. Although the fishing was slow, we still we able to come home with a couple nice salmon and memories of some sturgeon that kept things fun. All in all a great way to spend the day.

What's biting with Dave's Fisheng Guide Service in Portland

The first of the winter Steelhead arrive in November, drawing light tackle and fly anglers into the Clackamas, Willamette, and Cowlitz rivers. Portland is kicking off the holiday season with its famous ZooLights display.
