Half Day Fishing Trip • 2 adultsI know it’s not the Captain’s fault, but the fish were just not there. He did tell me beforehand that he would have the bait ready, but he didn’t, and he spent a lot of time casting a net for bait. Only five bait fish were caught. We did catch a couple of sharks, but nothing like we were expecting. Zero fish for the cooler. That was disappointing. But again everywhere we went the fish weren’t there. I don’t know if it was the time of year or what , but again it wasn’t to Captain‘s fault.

Half Day Fishing Trip • 3 adults • 1 childCaptain Matt did a great job of taking care of us. The summer time winds were in full effect so we stayed inshore. We caught bluefish, flounder and a shark. Matt even filleted up the bluefish we kept and gave me some cooking ideas, which resulted in some great tasting fresh fish. Matt was such a professional, we booked a follow up "Eco Tour" with him for the entire family later in the week. Horses were seen, sandbars were played on, and sand dollars were found.

Full Day Fishing Trip • 3 adultsHad a great time with Captain Matt! Very cool and relaxed dude! We had an awesome day out on the water. Caught a variety of fish! Me and my uncle caught about 30 sharks within a 3 hour window and it was absolutely awesome! Highly recommend going with Matt! We plan on going out with him again on our next years trip!

3 Hour Trip – Eco Tour • 3 adultsThis is our second trip with Captain Matt!! First was a fishing trip and and today was a leisure trip seeing the wild horses, dolphins, collecting sand dollars and just enjoying being on the beautiful water!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Captain Matt!!!! We had the best time and will certainly be back for another trip soon!!!!!

What's biting with Sound-N-Sea Charters in Atlantic Beach
The crowds have died down but there's no sign of the fishing going anywhere. Redfish return to centre stage inshore, with plenty of monsters biting at the end of your line. Meanwhile Wahoo will tempt you offshore.

Spring fishing is here!

Over the past week, we have had a much success targeting Atlantic Bonito, gray trout, and bluefish. Also catching a few sharks. The bluefish are here to stay for the summer, but the bonito and trout are usually only here now until mid may. Bonito are a tasty nearshore fish. Many people eat these like other tuna species; sushi grade. Come get in on the action while they are still here!

FALL FISHING is in FULL SWING

With the dropping water temps, the fish are feeding frequently. We are starting to catch limits of speckled trout and red drum. Along with those, also seeing some sheepshead, bluefish, and gray trout (weakfish).

March Fishing Report

We are catching drum, speckled trout, and flounder inshore in the creeks and marsh areas, although we are finding lots of fish and bait, they can be picky at times. Also, sea mullet (southern kingfish) have showed up in great numbers around the inlet. These are fun to catch for the whole family. Along with the sea mullet, grey trout (weakfish) and bluefish have also moved in and are willing to bite just about anything you throw.
