I'm a 5th generation fisherman from Venice, LA. I used to Trawl for Shrimp, Catch Blue Crabs with traps, Long line Sharks, and fish Sheepshead commercially. In 2014 I decided to make a change so I started charter fishing and it's been incredible.

    Fishing with Herman

    3/4 Day Trip – Inshore • 4 adults

    Capt Herman was fantastic. Good conversation, incredible local knowledge, and knows where the fish are. He worked hard to get us on them and we smoked them. Will definitely be back out with him in the future

    Tropical Storm be gone

    3/4 Day Trip – Inshore • 3 adults

    Our charter turned out to be the day after a tropical storm. That can foul up the fishing. But Cap found the fish and each caught three redfish. Fun trip.

    Memorial Weekend Fun

    We had soooo much fun with Captain Herman. We caught our snapper limit in no time. Would highly recommend charter!

This is a great time of year to go after Cobia, which can be caught around the rigs in shallow water. Weighing in anything from 15 to 60 pounds, this is one of the most exciting fish to catch nearshore.
