Captain Gregory Prieur Jr. is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain and has been fishing Lake Michigan for over 30 years. Starting his fishing hobby as a young boy with his father and brother, it became a passion for him.
He bought his first boat when he was 19 and fished Lake Michigan and the Saginaw Bay whenever he could. Although the boats have come and gone through the years, his love of fishing has remained steadfast. He bought his current boat, Dog Bone, in 2013 and has enjoyed fishing out of Manistee, MI ever since.

Morning half day • 2 adultsOnce again Greg and Chris proved they are the best at what they do; a highly professional approach to any situation, combined with expert knowledge of the craft, makes them irreplaceable. Within two and a half hours, my two brothers and I had already caught our limits of beautiful silver salmon!!!!!

Evening half day • 2 adultsBooked a father/son trip with my 17 yr old through Dog Bone out of Manistee. The trip was epic. We limited out and had an amazing time doing it. Captain Doug and First Mate Chris were great. They knew where the fish were and what they were biting. Captain Doug got phone calls throughout the 6 hour evening trip from other fishermen asking questions or providing info and updates. He is as in the know as it gets. Chris and Doug both worked hard to ensure a successful trip, but were laid back and a joy to share a boat with. Thank you guys for a trip that we will talk about for the rest of our lives!
