  Best trip ever!

  Afternoon Big Game Fishing on June 12, 2026 • 2 adults

  I should have booked this as the FIRST thing I did visiting LeMorne. What an amazing experience. I found Captain Labonne and Gavin both to be super kind and welcoming, knowledgeable about fishing to a level I can only dream of and exceptionally patient. The whole day was made by me catching my first and of course the biggest Yellow Fin Tuna I’ve ever caught as well as two skipjack tunas. The equipment was excellent with my first time using a fighting chair, what a difference. The boat “Maria” is superb. A decent size for a group and very large for two people. Plenty of fishing holders, comfortable to travel in and is sheltered. I highly recommend booking this trip if you are visiting Mauritius. You won’t be disappointed

  What a trip

  Full Day Trip on May 11, 2026 • 2 adults

  We started early and an hour in we catched a decent Bara and a nice Bonito. Then the fish didnt want to bite anymore. The captain tried everything, but thats why its called „fishing“ - not „catching fish“ right ;). Then the waves went very high and the captain went in more shallow water. Suddenly he said if we wanted to swim with dolphins. He gave us snorkling equipment and dropped us in front of de dolphins so they swam right next and underneath us… what en experience!! He even told us a spot were we could so turtles which we went to see the next day. 11/10 experience would definetly recommend! Thanks a lot to the captain again

  Great Trip, but unfortunately no fish!

  Afternoon poping fishing on July 18, 2026 • 2 adults

  Captain Jean Luc and crew of this local fishing boat are fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The boat, although not a fast cruiser or speed boat, is in great condition and will take you out to the fishing grounds at a calm pace in comfort & privacy - so you'll have an opportunity to take in the sights & sounds of Mauritius without having the boat crammed full of other tourists. The fishing tackle is first class - honestly top of the range reels, rods & line with superb lures. My teenage son & I aimed to try popping with topwater lures for a few hours, which unfortunately was not productive. We then extended our charter by picking up my daughter & wife from the beach to go see the dolphins, do some snorkeling & shallow fishing (my son caught a Cod), swim with the turtles (which was amazing!) & have a boat picnic at Crystal Rock while the kids snorkeled around this iconic landmark. The boat was spacious and crew accommodating, it was all perfect for a short fishing excursion & family friendly tour, and not to fast as to frighten those timid of the ocean :) but I know this Captain can do hardcore fishing trips too! We will be back & thank you.

  morning fishing and snorkeling

  Half Day Trip on October 10, 2025 • 2 adults

  fantastic 5 hour morning trip with Captain Labonne, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. To start with, he picked us up as close to our hotel as possible, which was really appreciated. We had requested bottom fishing as trawling for big game makes me sea sick, all the equipment & bait was provided and was in good order. Labonne asked us what we would like to do & what we may want help with, which was great as i do like to do the whole process myself, but good to know he would help if needed. We cought several species of fish & when the currents changed and the fish stopped biting Labonne took us to several locations and depths to get bites. We had asked if we could go snorkelling after fishing, and Lebonne took us to an amazing spot, fantastic corals and fish with unbelievably clear water, and we never felt rushed. He even told us where & when to go snorkelling to see turtles. Fantastic end to our Mauritian holiday. Thank you

  Fantastic experience

  Fishing and swim with dolphin on July 13, 2026 • 5 adults

  We booked a combined swimming with dolphins and fishing trip. We found the dolphins quite early and had a splendid time swimming alongside them. Unfortunately, the tides upon our return were not conducive to fishing, so the captain offered to take us to a good snorkeling spot instead. Will definitely recommend!
