fantastic 5 hour morning trip with Captain Labonne, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. To start with, he picked us up as close to our hotel as possible, which was really appreciated. We had requested bottom fishing as trawling for big game makes me sea sick, all the equipment & bait was provided and was in good order. Labonne asked us what we would like to do & what we may want help with, which was great as i do like to do the whole process myself, but good to know he would help if needed. We cought several species of fish & when the currents changed and the fish stopped biting Labonne took us to several locations and depths to get bites. We had asked if we could go snorkelling after fishing, and Lebonne took us to an amazing spot, fantastic corals and fish with unbelievably clear water, and we never felt rushed. He even told us where & when to go snorkelling to see turtles.

Nous avons vu des dizaines de dauphins avec très peu de bateaux autour de nous, dans le respect des animaux nous étions souvent seuls avec les dauphins qui nageaient tranquillement autour et devant le bateau. En seconde partie de l’excursion nous avons eu la chance de pêcher un thon jaune de 30 kilos c’était incroyable. La meilleure excursion de notre séjour à Maurice nous recommandons vivement merci encore

We are family of two kids (aged 4 and 5), and we went fishing. The kids were yelling it is the best fishing day of their lives. We caught a lot of fishes, that we then take home and make dinner. The captain was very nice, ready to answer on any of our question, the ride was also very nice. 😁👍

Today’s fishing trip with Jean Luc was incredible! We originally attempted to book for Christmas Day, however after booking Captain Labonne contacted us right away with information that sea/fishing conditions were not ideal and so we rescheduled for 2 days later - and it was well worth the wait. We were staying relatively far from the listed meeting point, but we’re picked up by Jean Luc much closer to our location, saving us time and cab fare which was a most welcome and kind gesture. Seas were calm and the boat steady (so no seasickness) and we managed to catch several fish, with the captain’s expertise, during the 3 hour trip. I highly recommend Mariaboat charters and would definitely book with Captain Labonne again!

was good too drill one the chair, but suddenly all the fishpower come over me
and the fish take more than 150 m Line.

After pulling for a long Time,for me Like eternity WE saw firstime the fish ITS a shark.The last meters to the boat the Captain takeover for catch and release.The Captain said ITS a fine 3m shark.A video ist available in demand
