Capt. Phil is the perfect charter. This is the second time we have gone with him. He is extremely knowledgeable of what is biting, and where. We fished inshore the first time, in June. Caught quite a few fish. We had two eight year olds as part of our party. They were worn out when we were done.They caught a lot of fish! The second was today, Sept. 18th. We had three in our party. One was an eight year old. We went offshore, and caught probably 40 or so fish in four hours. The grandson ended up hooking a 40 lb. barracuda.  It was amazing. He was chasing the fish that was being reeled in. It came completely out of the water, and hit the side of the boat. We thought he was coming in with us! We eventually got it in. Was is cool is that it happened again about thirty minutes later.This time he missed him,but we got the fish that was on the line in! Lol Capt. Phil is wonderful with kids, and is overall just a good man! Thanks , and we will definitely book with him again!

Caught about 70 fish and kept about 50 of them. This was my first time fishing in the Gulf of America and I Highly recommend Awestruck Fishing and Capt. Phil Dyer!!!

Captain Phil was amazing from start to finish. Our trip was beyond expectations in every way. We caught tons of fish and he was a very good teacher for 2 10yr olds. The boys say the will remember are trip forever. Could not recommend him more.

We had an awesome trip with Captain Phil! He knows the areas which produce fish and efficiently got us to those areas. The rods were rigged and ready to go for what we were after.  We will book another trip the next time we’re down!!

Phil was awesome and extremely knowledgeable on current locations, fishing techniques and methods.  And a great guy to spend the day with!  Put us on fish immediately, offered assistance and made our day a wonderful experience.  We caught sea trout, Spanish mackerel, grouper & snapper but the highlight of the day was the 45 minute fight we had with a 5-foot blacktip shark!!
