I've been on the water for as long as I can remember, but Eco Adventures is where it all came together. My background spans both corporate and creative worlds, mixed with years of international travel chasing surf, adventure, and time on the ocean. These days, I've channelled all of that into running premium fishing and ocean experiences, bringing people out onto the water, sharing local knowledge, and making sure every trip feels relaxed, safe, and genuinely memorable. For me, it's about more than just fishing; it's about helping people connect with the incredible coastline, islands, and marine life we're lucky to have here in New Zealand.

    Great winter trip!

    6 Hr – Fishing Trip • 4 adults

    Very well-equipped boat, experienced skipper, blue skies, and no wind. We saw gannets, a whale, dolphins, and penguins. It was great fishing and, most importantly, good fun! We had an amazing trip, tried different fishing styles, and came back with a bag of kahawais, snappers, and great memories. Highly recommended!

    Caught fish

    6 Hour - 3/4 Day Fishing Trip - 10:00 AM • 4 adults

    My adult kids and teen had a great time out on the water. Even in Winter it was a wonderful experience where we still caught more than one species of fish. Captain was courteous and hospitable and knowledgeable. Would do it again. Really helped that there was a toilet on board.
