He's been in love with the sea and its treasures every since he was a boy, and he started fishing when he was only 6 years old. Today, he's been running charters for over 2 decades, and he's a great connoisseur of all the best (and often secret) fishing spots around the island. Capt. Matteo enjoys sharing his love of the water and fishing with his customers and spends every free moment out there, chasing the horizon and the next great catch.

Half Day Traditional Fishing - 7:00 PM • 4 adultsAs a family of 4 we had the pleasure to go on an evening trip with Mateo and Silvia. They are really friendly and a pleasure to have as captains. Although the water was really warm (31°c) and the fish therefore very sluggish, Mateo managed to put us on the fish and we still caught a lot! One of my boys was a bit anxious about the big boat and open sea. But with the patient and understanding of Mateo and Silvia he quickly gained confidence and the biggest fish of the trip made him king of the world! With a nice swim at sunset with beautiful Elba as a backdrop our trip was complete! On the way back we got a very delicious Elban Wine and homemade Pecorino, which paired really good and made the trip absolutely unforgettable. We took some of the fish back to our place and used the recipe we got from Silvia and was the best freshest fish we ever had. We enjoyed every second of the trip and when we comeback to Elba we will defenently get in touch with Mateo and Silvia!

2 Day Sea Wolves Fishing SafariHo partecipato a un safari di pesca a fine settembre: una giornata intera in mare, dalle prime luci dell’alba fino al rientro al tramonto. Abbiamo pescato tanute, occhioni, bei dentici e un praio spettacolare. Matteo è un capitano eccezionale — preparato, simpatico e con una conoscenza del mare davvero unica, che condivide con passione e autenticità. E poi… i suoi gin tonic! 😂 “The best gin tonic in land and sea”, senza alcun dubbio! La giornata si è conclusa con una cena in villa a base del pesce appena pescato, in un’atmosfera rilassata e genuina. Un’esperienza vera, divertente e di grande valore umano. Da rifare assolutamente — super consigliato!

2 Day Sea Wolves Fishing SafariI had the most wonderful 2 days experience! I could not believe this would be possible.. I. The beginning I wasn’t sure it would be worth the money yet I had so much fun! Explored and learned a lot about different techniques that matteo invented… so many Incredibles hot spots and a wonderful panorama! Slept on the boat super comfortably and enjoyed not only the variety of fished and a couple of big fellows.. but the dinner once arrived with all we fished shared with friends and family. Super suggested
