- At the age of four, I started fishing for anything that swims, and ever since, the fishing bug has never left me. In recent years, I have specialized in light tackle diagonal jigging for pike, perch, and zander. I love fishing from my boat on large freshwater river systems and lakes. The thrill of hunting predatory fish in vast waters is as addictive as it is rewarding. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my guests take control of their fishing and catch their dream fish.
- Techniques
- The most fantastic way to catch pike perch or zander is when they come casting diagonal jigging style with soft lures on light tackle. The solid bang that you feel on the rod when they strike is unmatched. But of course, we do whatever we can to catch them. If diagonal jigging is not the favourite presentation of the day we switch as easily to vertical fishing, dropshotting, trolling, casting with hard lures, popping, fishing pelagic style, you name it.
