  Latenight to A.M. trip

  6 Hr – Shark Fishing | Cookout on July 31, 2026

  Everything was ready when we got there.Including, but not limited to 0 gravity beach loungers, canopy, full cooler, poles set up etc. They're only concern was our comfort and happiness. Very upbeat group and very determined. The gear was top notch and ready for anything up to a ton. They walked us through experiencing a sea turtle, laying eggs on the beach, we saw fireballs from a meteor shower, and there were several experiences we shared that we're a nice addition to the shark fishing experience. They educated us on the different kinds of sharks and also provided us with a training session where they let us experience what it would be like to have one on by physically, running a line out on the beach and trying different drag settings. You can fish from a pole stand or they have a harness. I prefer the stand personally, but there are options. If you're new, or if you just want a better shot at setting the hook, they will set the hook for you and let you do the rest. I personally ended up catching the biggest fish I ever have. It was an 8 foot tiger shark. I don't know how much it weighed, but apparently it is not one of the larger ones.Lol. that's fine by me, because it was my first experience and i assume gave me a better shot at landing.It which I did. They got out in the water and wrangled it in.Once I got it up to the beach and removed the hook and the most painless, ethical way possible and then escorted the shark away from the shallows. So professional, so courteous, a real red carpet experience. When I do this again, I don't need to check and see what's out there. I have a feeling I will need to plan ahead a little bit though, to make sure I get to do it with these guys again. I've had several guided fishing experiences this is my first shark experience, but hands down, these guys had the best manners and more concern with our comfort and satisfaction than anyone I have ever hired. No need to book anywhere else.

  My son and I recently booked a charter with Captain Yusuf and Cody, and although we didn’t end up catching any fish, this was still one of the best charter experiences I’ve ever had. We understand it is called fishing and not catching, and it was in no way due to a lack of effort on the part of the crew! What truly sets this charter apart is that effort. I have honestly never seen a captain and crew work as hard as Yusuf and Cody did to put us in the best possible position to succeed. Their work ethic, professionalism, and genuine desire for us to have a great experience were unmatched. Beyond the fishing, they were personable, knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire trip enjoyable for both me and my son. The memories we made together were worth every penny. Speaking of value, I genuinely believe they’re underpriced for the level of service and experience they provide. I would have paid significantly more for a charter with the dedication and customer service we received. Without hesitation, I will book with Captain Yusuf again the next time I’m in the area. If you’re considering a charter, stop looking and book this one. You won’t find a harder-working captain or crew anywhere. Highly, highly recommended

  Captain Yussef and the crew were thorough, walked us through everything they were doing, and answered every question we had—and then some. There was even an emergency on the beach during our trip, and the captain handled the situation professionally before getting us right back to fishing. We didn’t end up landing a shark, but it definitely wasn’t for a lack of effort. The captain and crew worked hard the entire trip to put us on fish. Even if you come up short, it’s absolutely worth the time and money for the experience alone. I’ll definitely be booking another trip, and I highly recommend giving them a try too.

  If you’re looking for a bucket-list experience, Shark Crossing Charters is the one to book! Our shore shark fishing trip was the highlight of our vacation. We landed an incredible 7-foot, 200+ lb nurse shark, and the adrenaline of fighting a fish that size from the beach is something I’ll never forget. The crew goes above and beyond to put you on sharks. They use drone casting, plus a kayak and dinghy, to place the bait exactly where it needs to be, giving you the best chance to hook into a giant. Watching the whole process is just as impressive as the fight itself. The guides were knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire experience safe, exciting, and fun from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and the sharks they target. If you’re visiting the St. Pete area and want an unforgettable adventure, I can’t recommend Shark Crossing Charters enough. Catching a 7-foot, 200+ lb shark from the beach is a memory that will last a lifetime. We’ll definitely be back! 🦈🎣🌊

  I had an absolutely incredible experience shark fishing from the beach with Yuseff of Shark Crossing Charters. From start to finish, his professionalism, knowledge, and passion for what he does were obvious. He took the time to explain everything, made sure we were set up for success, and shared a ton of valuable information throughout the trip. The highlight of the day was landing an absolutely massive lemon shark—an experience I’ll never forget. It was clear that Yuseff’s skill, patience, and years of experience played a huge role in making it happen. Beyond being an outstanding guide, Yuseff is genuinely one of the easiest people to get along with. He keeps the atmosphere fun and relaxed while staying focused on safety and giving you the best chance at an unforgettable catch.
