Lake Erie Fishing Charter

Head to the creeks for ice fishing if the ice is thick enough. You can also visit the bay, armed with large golden shiners which Northern Pike find irresistible. Or you can get some rest before the spring season, it's up to you.

Ice fishing in the bay can be pretty good if the weather conditions allow for it. Dress well, bring a big thermos with hot coffee, and spend your day targeting Perch with minnows or Steelhead with egg sacks.

The weather is changing for the better, which has anglers reaching for their gear. You could find Walleye, Perch, Steelhead, and Smallmouth Bass, especially if you focus on fishing the tributaries.&nbsp;

If you're in the mood for Lake Trout fishing, the time to make it happen is April. Jigging and trolling enthusiasts will also enjoy exploring the tributaries for early season Walleye.&nbsp;

May brings on the heat, both on Lake Erie and in the Presque Isle Bay. Get your hands on Walleye, Perch, and Smallies, and don't forget about those gorgeous Lakers. Bass and Trout action is at its best this month.

Steelhead are hanging out offshore, Bass are biting, and Walleye anglers are ready and equipped to get their hands on Lake Erie's superstar catch. Perch fishing is getting better every day.

The deeper waters of Lake Erie's central basin hold impressive numbers of Walleye and Trout, with some bragworthy Walleye out there for the taking. In the bay, anything from Crappie to Catfish is biting.

Anglers are trolling dipsy divers with spoons, ready to battle the biggest Walleye they can find. It's all about these mighty fish in the summer, and the bite is as productive as ever.

This is one of the best months to come to Erie and spend a couple of days fishing. You can target Walleye and Steelhead, jumbo Perch, and epic Bass in the bay.

As the fall progresses, Walleye move into deeper waters, but you can still hire an Erie, PA fishing charter to help you find your prey. Steelhead are roaming around, searching for food, not to mention Yellow Perch that love this weather.
